The album name Om quanta refers to the term used by Cesar to illustrate the introspective, fun and inspiring vibe that the duo seeks to make music and the track names all bring puns and mind games around concepts, references to people and ideas with some relation to issues such as the arrow of time (entropy), ontology, epistemology, positive psychology, philosophy of mind, synesthesia, the Cynics and Stoics, determinism vs. free will, logic, theory of evolution, pragmatism, religious terms denoting universal transcendence, and as usual in the case of A Espiral de Bukowski, including nods to cosmology. Om quanta marks the end of a cycle.
O nome do álbum – Om quanta – faz referência ao termo usado por Cesar para ilustrar a vibe introspectiva, divertida e inspiradora que o duo busca ao fazer música e os nomes das faixas todas trazem trocadilhos e jogos mentais ao redor de conceitos, referências a pessoas e ideias com alguma relação a temas como a flecha do tempo (entropia), ontologia, epistemologia, psicologia positiva, filosofia da mente, sinestesia, os Cínicos e os Estóicos, determinismo x livre-­‐arbítrio, lógica, teoria da evolução, pragmatismo, termos religiosos denotando transcendência universal, e como de costume, em se tratando de A Espiral de Bukowski, incluindo acenos à cosmologia.
